Toledo Celtics

Coach Lee is the C.E.O. and Director of the Toledo Celtics Soccer Club. He holds a BS degree in mathematics and an associate’s degree in science. Coach Lee holds an N.S.C.A.A. Advanced National Diploma. He taught F,E,D, licences courses for USSF. He started his carrer with Share Ziba where later he joined Bonyad Mostazafan. He played for famous Tehran Javan soccer club in Tehran, Iran. Coach Lee was recently appointed as the head Varsity Soccer Coach at St. Francis de Sales High School. He was girls Varsity Coach for Perrysburg High School where the team was ranked #16 in the nation. Lee was JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach for St. John’s High School. In addition to coaching at St. Francis, Coach Lee continues his duties to The Toledo Celtics Programs.

Coach DJ is originally from Algeria where he grew up and learned the game of soccer.  Coach holds a youth coaching license in Algeria. He played 10 years professional soccer for WAT in Division 1.  DJ has been coaching with the Toledo Celtics Soccer Club for the past 7 years and has taken the U12 girls to the championship level for 2004 and repeated in 2005.  DJ has taken his teams to Dayco and NW Ohio Festival Tournaments.

Coach Mike has a BS in Business Administration from Heidelberg University and is General Manager of a large steel service center in Detroit and Erie, MI. 

Mike has been involved in area soccer for more than 14 years.  He is the original founder and past president of East Suburban Soccer League (ESSL), Mike was instrumental in bringing soccer to more than 1,500 youth in the eastern suburbs of Toledo before joining the Toledo Celtics as a youth girls coach.  He has been coaching for 12 years, holds an E coaching license through OYSAN, and an advanced coaching certificate from the Soccer Association for Youth (S.A.Y).  He is also a USSF, S.A.Y. and OHSAA certified referee. 

Coach Clarke is director of Youth Development at the Toledo Celtics.

Coach has 25 years of coaching experience at various levels, including High School, University, ODP and Club. He is currently Technical Director for the St Francis de Sales High School Soccer Program and was varsity coach from 1990-96 and Head Coach from1994-96, posting the third highest winning percentage in school history. His own playing career spanned 30 years and included seven years of professional soccer in England and four years as a letterman in college. He holds an English FA Coaching badge and USSF D Licence and is a member of NSCAA.

He holds a degree in Applied Chemistry from Brunel University, England and a degree in Physical Sciences from Oxford.

Coach Douglas is no stranger to the NW Ohio area. He attended Bowling Green State University where he majored in communication.  He has been involved in area soccer for over 13 years.  He holds USSF C license .Douglas was Director of Coaching of Sylvania Youth Soccer Association for 4 years and founder of the Sylvania Adult Soccer Association.  Coach was responsible for bringing USYSA Regional Snickers Championship to NW Ohio.

Coach France was a 2 time State Champion Player, Regional Finalist and U15 through U17 ODP State Player. He was awarded the Ohio North Club Coach of the Year in 1999. He holds a USSF D license. Ross has been coaching in the NW Ohio area for the past 15 years. Coach was instrumental in establishing The Greater Toledo Futbol Club. He also coached Springfield Varsity Girls and Boys for 8 years, and coached with Pacesetter Club for 2 years. Ross coached Maumee Express for 3 years and took Maumee Express ’95 to State Champs and Regional Semi-finalists.

Coach Jablonski is a very familiar face in the Northwest Ohio soccer community. He has given his service to our youngest for the past 16 years. Currently, he is the Head Coach of the Central Catholic Girls Varsity team, he was previously Head Coach of Lake High School Girls Varsity and was very instrumental in creating The Greater Toledo Futbol Club. He devoted his time to the Swanton Storm Travel and Recreational programs from 1985-1996. Coach Jablonski holds a N.S.C.A.A. National Diploma and a U.S.S.F. Youth coaching license.

Coach Stark returns to the Celtics to assist with the development of their youth programs. Coach Stark has been affiliated with the Toledo Celtics since 1990 serving in a variety of coaching roles.  His coaching resume includes time spent at St. Francis de Sales High School, Toledo Celtics and PSC Clubs, and served as the Vice President of the NWOYSL. Most recently, Coach Stark led his team to the SYSA Tournament and NWOYSL Championships.

Coach Bobbie should be familiar to many area club members. Coach has a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Toledo and she holds a USSF D license. While in the Toledo area, Coach has been involved with Maumee Express boys program from 1993-2000. She was the Sylvania Southview JV Varsity Assistant from 2000-2003 and she was awarded Assistant Coach of the Year in 2001. Coach Bobbie was Varsity Assistant in 2004 for Perrysburg High School and involved with Pacesetter Soccer Club Girls Program from 2001-2004.
